Yo di mi depósito como acordamos y estuvieron cambiando la fecha y no me quisieron devolver el dinero, nunca me mencionaron que podrían cambiar fecha. Si ellos no llenaron no es mi culpa porque así como yo fui derecha pagando ellos tuvieron que haber respetado el acuerdo y no lo hicieron. No lo recomiendo quedan mal con la fecha y no regresan el dinero.

Tomé curso de pestañas en la localidad de Bakersfield, tuve a una excelente maestra que nos enseñó y explicó todo a la perfección, paso a paso con mucha paciencia, la maestra Yenny. Por otro lado, el precio del curso es alto y creo que deberían dar materiales de mejor calidad ya que no es gratis y eso se les pone a las modelos en las pestañas entonces si deberían ser más conscientes en el tipo de material que dan a sus alumnas. La secretaria, hace muchas caras, es muy seria y un poco chismosa, eso hace ver mal la escuela ya que ella es su primera impresión hacia las personas. Pero lo demás bien.

I loved this lash class, CJ teaches us to understand The fundamentals and builds on that knowledge, and he shows various techniques when it comes to lashing. I enjoyed the fact that he took his time on educating us on lash health and maintenance to better serve clients. I came in knowing nothing about lashes and left with a full range of knowledge on the topic. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to become certified the right way!

After calling and researching numerous lash extension schools, I was at a loss because I just didn’t feel like their programs checked all the boxes on my list, based on my needs and current skillset(Esthetician student with a basic “working knowledge” of how to lash but lacked the specific instruction for how to be precise, successful, and competent. Basically, I’m a “arm-chair” expert but couldn’t lash properly to save my life). I happened to hear about Hollywood Makeup School from one of my Esthi friends/fellow student and was impressed with the range of classes they offered in addition to lash extension (make-up, brow mapping, lash extension, permanent makeup and more)! I contacted the school and was able to get all my questions about the program and pricing answered and felt confident about enrolling in the program. The course was 2 days and claimed to cover EVERYTHING..which is what I was hoping to find because I have neither the time nor resources to take a week to learn “classic”, another week to learn “hybrid”, and so on and so forth. I wanted to learn “how to fish” because once I knew that, I can take it and run with it. CJ was my instructor and, let me tell you, he is a WEALTH of knowledge. I’m SO impressed with the entire program because it gave me the knowledge, tools, and resources I needed to not only learn the “basics” but how to grow and develop my craft as I continue to improve my technique so that I can continuously develop my basic skills into advanced skills, without having to wait until the next class is in session to learn the next, more advanced skills/styling. CJ will also teach you how to customize every set for YOUR client because lashing is not “one size fits all”. You learn basic and advanced technique AND he lets you in to the business side so you can maximize your earning potential. I’d give more stars if I could but 5 stars is the max. Either way, I can say with confidence- this is a sound investment in your education and your future!

I decided to go to Kc Beauty because it was the most affordable. There’s pros and cons. Pros you MIGHT get a good teacher, I got an amazing instructor but it was very short lived. There’s another teacher there Ms.Julia who I believe is still there and she’s great. Another pro is you MIGHT make some good friends. Now the cons, the staff can be really weird sometimes. I had a weird experience with Wendy she would often say rude condescending comments like if I’m not an adult with two kids just trying to make a career for myself. The student kit was not worth it to me personally it was very over priced for cheap stuff I would’ve rather bought stuff myself. There education is just us reading out loud together. I hardly learned anything and I would’ve rather studied alone which I had to do to prepare for my test at the end. They treat you like you’re a kid in middle school at times and I thought that was really bizarre. Also don’t expect them to help you find a job all the job listings they give you at the end are outdated and you won’t get hired at any. Last con is they are super cheap when it comes to certain things everything’s old broken and the facials we do are so repetitive and basic you won’t learn much about how things are in the real world. I don’t feel like they prepare you at all for the real world and a lot of people don’t make it passed school. Some of the teachers I had , had this weird know it all all attitude and were often reminding us that we were not licensed for no reason. To me the cons outweigh the pros but I still got what I needed from the school which was the hours.

Esthetician student here! Our esthetician instructor goes above and beyond in making sure that you are well prepped for the real (esthetician) world. Ms. Julia made learning such a fun experience, and I never went a day without learning something new.
Although state board test prep was not explicitly part of the curriculum (while I was a student), Ms. Julia did everything in her power to make sure that we were all well prepped for the exam. In all the six months that I studied there, every student who graduated passed their state board exam. Thank you for everything, Ms. J!

Graduating from this school changed my vision as an artist. Classes were very hands on from day one. Photo sessions were great. I finished the Professional Makeup Artist Diploma Program. We all wen to Paris for our final project. Worked for an European designer. It was amazing! Learned too much in 3 months. For a long time I was in search of a makeup school. I had to do a little research before I signed up, so I scheduled tours at a few schools in the Los Angeles area. The first schools that I toured seemed to be more focused special effects and dated techniques rather than current trends in beauty. On top of that, I did not get the feeling that I was welcome, as at a very famous makeup school they seemed like they could care less if I enrolled in their program. The last school I visited was Los Angeles Makeup School. I was skeptical because the school was fairly new. I met the owners first, they were very welcoming and warm; and they freely answered all my questions. I felt very good about their energy. First impressions are very important for me and they earned their 5 star rating right there. Great Vibes. From day one, we started working hands on and I loved it. I don’t think you can learn makeup artistry by just watching and listening. You’ve got to get hands on! Makeup is all about practicing! I had a few different instructors. They explained everything! I mean everything! Techniques, tricks even how to hold the brush and pencil, I mean every little detail that makes you really good at makeup artistry. Can’t tell enough about the photo sessions! We did photo sessions everyday! This thought me a lot! I studied 11 weeks in Los Angeles campus and we went to Paris for our portfolio building sessions. This was the coolest and best experience I had in my life. PARIS Makeup Tour was MAGICAL! We worked for this great European designer. The fashion photographer was amazing! We had a whole crew! Beautiful models, amazing scenery, amazing couture gowns… it was a DREAM come true! I can’t even compare this school with other makeup schools. What other school takes you to PARIS and actually make you work for a real company to build their look books? Plus I got to see PARIS and have so much fun and build a great makeup artist portfolio. After I finished the school, LAMUS gave me a beautiful website that has all my work in it. From beauty makeup to Special FX, there is even my video reel on my website. Love that Paris work backstage video! Now I can do beauty makeup, special effects makeup, body painting, eye lash and brow extensions and I can actually do hair as well! Thanks to Los Angeles Makeup School for training me so well. I can’t appreciate enough!

I absolutely think Melissa is such a beautiful soul and an amazing advantageous business woman. It hurts me to come on here and see these terrible reviews that I don’t believe she deserves. I’ve worked with Melissa for a few years now and she has always been on point. So sad to see what’s happening here. Keep your head up Melissa! You got this! Please give me a call if you need to chat. I definitely do not recommend working with Reverence and Melissa Arnold. A few months ago I signed a contract for the distribution of pigments. I deposited several thousand dollars. Unfortunately, to this day I have not received the ordered and paid pigments. Melissa is constantly explaining herself, every now and then there is a new problem, she is aggressive, sends inappropriate and unprofessional photos… I was robbed. The case will end up in court. The lawyer is already notified. The case will be reported to the police as theft. I do not recommend.

October of 2022 l made a contract for pigments distribution with the company called REVERENCE BEAUTY from USA . I paid 5000 dollars on 24th of October and was promised to receive products within 2 weeks.
Time was passing and l started to worry, the company owner Melissa Arnold stopped answering to any messages, her husband as well. Apparently there are no one else in the company who could answer any questions.
I’ve got even more worried and understood that something is definitely wrong when l was contacted by another distributor, they have exactly the same issues.
Now we are 4 distributors from different countries with similar issues. Some of distributors waiting for their orders since last year April-May!!

The company owner replied saying that her all family was ill which is understandable, then she disappears then she says that they are packing and preparing orders, then dissapears again, when l ask about tracking number no response.
Another time she comes back with excuses that they dont have bottles to fill in the pigment because there are delays from where she orders them.
Since it has been long time ( over 2 months) and so many excuses and lying l did ask for refund which she refuses to give, she says «It does not exist»!
Since l asked for refund l didn’t hear from for 3 weeks.
All the conversations were unprofessional and arrogant blaming everyone else. The company owner feels she didn’t do anything wrong.
This situation cost me so much stress, money and time. I hope after this post people will be aware of this company before making any decision.

After posting this post on another huge pmu group there are much more people who are in the same situation!!

I found them through Offer Up. The class in total was $500 for a classic course. I found it to be very nice how it was not a bunch of girls in the class but rather just 5. That way they were able to focus individually. They started with giving us our lash kit as well as go over what was inside. They also printed an entire packet with very interesting information i did not know. Answered all the questions one had. Went over more documents (liability forms) that were personal but shared with students to help them start off.

I found it very nice how even provided lunch out of their own pockets.

Some people start of with mannequins but others prefer your own model to actually see how they look from different angles instead of seeing from a steady angle.

They had reserved the salon entirely to teach us & did a BEAUTIFUL job!

I will surely be coming back if they have more classes 🙂

First of all Cute place love the simple clean space. Was welcomed by vero had a lash a appointment . And I was a little worried being its my first time but I loved it she made me feel welcome and comfortable. The service was clean and amazing. She explained every detail and the process was simple and relaxing actually. Heard many amazing things from past students regarding lah classes. Looking forward to it

I have been debating about making this review all week. I really had mixed feelings. I want to give an honest review so people can be happy with there service 100%. I found them through offer up and saw they offered classic lash extension course for $500, the two women teaching the class were very nice and I can not say other wise. However, I find them unfit and not prepared to teach an eyelash course. The “salon” is in a terrible area, very hot and not so sanitary. Also, they do not have the materials needed to hold a functioning class. The class was set to begin at 9 A.M didn’t begin until an hour after. The lash tech owner of damedelash and tas makeup academy were the one running the class. Yet, felt as if she was reading through the packet not going much in detail. Occasionally, asked if anyone had any questions. Practically, stuff you could find on YouTube.

The demonstration was a quick 5 mins demonstration on how to apply an individual eyelashes. We took longer on how to clean the eyelash when removing them than actually applying the lash. Had no clear view or led light to actually see her applying the lash. My kit was incomplete…Both ladies started the new students on actual people that we brought in ourselves. However, if you are a beginner like I am. You can not start on an actual persons lashes with out trying it out on a mannequin first to get the technique down. Ladies, we are working with a glue similar to crazy glue and sharp tweezers near an eye area anything that goes wrong can be very hazardous and affect the persons vision.

Both ladies are very nice and respectful however, being nice is not going to get someone to learn the technique. Not worth $500 or your time. Yes, you can ask questions but, when the ones teaching the class are running a conversation by the desk area is rude and in my perspective just in it for a quick buck… I thought they would be walking around assisting the whole time. Seeing if the student makes errors to correct and demonstrate why we shouldn’t do that. But, that’s did not happen. Maybe in the future when they are more developed they could run a class but at the moment they are not.

Feel horrible giving my honest opinion but many girls need to know before going to attend this course. Rather pay $700 elsewhere before taking the course with them. Don’t waste your money girls do research ahead of time. Especially, if you are a beginner like myself. I thought I would fall in love with lashing however, this course made me hate it. Giving them 1 stars cause the girls were nice and respectful.
