Jake went out of his way to help make my family vacation dreams come true! He is such an honest and rad dude. It is easy to see why his surf school stands out amongst the rest! Thanks again

Jake started with one of my three kids. He loves ut si much the other two wanted to take part. 11, 9 and 4. He was awesome with all and one is on the spectrum so I was particularly interested how that would go. Jake was patient and allowed him the chance to adapt. By end of session he was standing up! Highly recommend.

Jake was the best instructor I’ve ever had, not just for Surfing, but in general. He is patient, kind, very encouraging, not to mention smart and funny...and handsome. The company is also very competitively priced, especially for private lessons which I highly highly recommend! All the other instructors do groups of 10 to 20 people, for the same price as learn to surf does a private lesson! Jake taught me how to surf in one lesson! I was able to get up and ride a wave almost immediately due to his direction and explanations! I came back three days later and search for them again, and now he is my permanent surf instructor. I also took my brother for lesson when he came out and visited me here in Venice Beach. I highly recommend this company and Jake as a surf instructor! Thank you Jake for your kindness and patience with me.

Rented a board for a morning at Venice beach while on a trip here. Had a great time, board was nice and Jeff really helpful. Would goto Badass again !
