Los Angeles Make-Up School

Graduating from this school changed my vision as an artist. Classes were very hands on from day one. Photo sessions were great. I finished the Professional Makeup Artist Diploma Program. We all wen to Paris for our final project. Worked for an European designer. It was amazing! Learned too much in 3 months. I am from Pakistan but going to school in LA then going to Paris to work via this school was a fantastic experience! Teachers are great! We all got web sites and great school kits. Amazing school! I am so grateful!

Great school! Very intimate boutique school with high quality education. All the class sessions were fun and super educational. This school care about students. Best investment I made so far. After 3 months of education I have a career. Love all the photo sessions. Great teachers! Owners are very nice and they listen us. They are very dedicated. They kept asking our experience with the instructors so they could give better service. Well done! School also builds a professional web site for students. All the other makeup schools I went for a tour never gave this kind of service. This is very valuable to me because web site and portfolio made a lot easier to get booked. By far the best makeup artist school.

Recently graduated from Los Angeles Makeup School. Amazing school! I love all my teachers. They are very passionate about teaching and making the learning process easy. I am so proud of myself! School sent me to various jobs even before graduation. Beauty classes were incredible! I got hands on from day one. Photo sessions taught us a lot! It was also great seeing our work on the screen. Angie, Bridgette and Orlando are amazing teachers. They showed every single details. Our work even daily sessions looked so professional. Love the makeup kits! Good brands like Nars, Makeup Forever, Bobbi Brown, Stila, Anastasia Beverly Hills and other good brands. Hair styling classes were also great! School's owners are very nice people. They are approachable and sweet. Entire experience was amazing! Thanks for making me a good professional makeup artist. Look no place else.

I am so happy to complete my education at Los Angeles Makeup School. Really appreciate the dedication and effort that instructors put during our education.They showed us to be the best on artistic level. I finished the Diploma Program. School took us to Paris to work on a haute couture designer's collection as a hair and makeup artist. (this is part of the tuition) It was a great experience! I had an amazing looking web site and portfolio (school built web site for students) I got to work for a real fashion company while i was learning. This was beyond my expectations. Now I am a versatile artist, I can do hair, makeup, special effects, body painting, lash and brow extensions. I learned so many in 3 months. I started working already. Tima and Bridget are extremely talented artists and they are lovely! Other instructors are amazing too! They are very dedicated are always very helpful every step forward. I recommend this school anybody who is looking for a good makeup artist school because LAMUS is a great school! Don't think twice! It's the BEST Makeup School!

For a long time I was in search of a makeup school. I had to do a little research before I signed up, so I scheduled tours at a few schools in the Los Angeles area. The first schools that I toured seemed to be more focused special effects and dated techniques rather than current trends in beauty. On top of that, I did not get the feeling that I was welcome, as at a very famous makeup school they seemed like they could care less if I enrolled in their program. The last school I visited was Los Angeles Makeup School. I was skeptical because the school was fairly new. I met the owners first, they were very welcoming and warm; and they freely answered all my questions. I felt very good about their energy. First impressions are very important for me and they earned their 5 star rating right there. Great Vibes. From day one, we started working hands on and I loved it. I don’t think you can learn makeup artistry by just watching and listening. You’ve got to get hands on! Makeup is all about practicing! I had a few different instructors. They explained everything! I mean everything! Techniques, tricks even how to hold the brush and pencil, I mean every little detail that makes you really good at makeup artistry. Can’t tell enough about the photo sessions! We did photo sessions everyday! This thought me a lot! I studied 11 weeks in Los Angeles campus and we went to Paris for our portfolio building sessions. This was the coolest and best experience I had in my life. PARIS Makeup Tour was MAGICAL! We worked for this great European designer. The fashion photographer was amazing! We had a whole crew! Beautiful models, amazing scenery, amazing couture gowns… it was a DREAM come true! I can’t even compare this school with other makeup schools. What other school takes you to PARIS and actually make you work for a real company to build their look books? Plus I got to see PARIS and have so much fun and build a great makeup artist portfolio. After I finished the school, LAMUS gave me a beautiful website that has all my work in it. From beauty makeup to Special FX, there is even my video reel on my website. Love that Paris work backstage video! Now I can do beauty makeup, special effects makeup, body painting, eye lash and brow extensions and I can actually do hair as well! Thanks to Los Angeles Makeup School for training me so well. I can’t appreciate enough!
