I started with just a 7 day free trial and loved the place. For only $200 a month for unlimited classes to me is a great deal. They have a full gym to workout. Excellent teachers and students and classes in the morning and the afternoon. I'm 29 years old and had plenty of adults with high skill level to work with. They even have their own fight team. So If your looking to take it serious or something just to keep you in shape, I 100% recommend this place.

The name may say MMA but dont be fooled, the Muay Thai program is hardcore. Beginner and advanced classes. Two mats full of people of various size and skill to partner with. A variety of big guys with skill which is very hard to find. Lots of active fighters. Theres also a weight area and a shower. Place is always clean. Lots of ventilation. You get a free week trial, and during the trial youre allowed to do everything including spar. A no-nonsense pay plan (no initiation fee, no contract, you dont have to buy a bunch of t-shirts). Pricing is more than competitive. Never lived this close to my gym before, shouldve joined way sooner.

Had to come leave a raving review because i love this gym. I’m brand new to the sport and this city, but I’ve been interested for a while. One of the coaches welcomed me in my first class and made me feel really comfortable and it just really set me up for success. I’ve felt nothing but encouragement, respect, & grace from everyone I’ve interacted with so far (even the people who aren’t coaches). It’s really just left a good taste in my mouth not only about the place, but the sport. There’s lots of women at the gym, & every coach has been really awesome. I loved Sasha’s class & her energy was very motivating. I strongly recommend this place, I love it. 🙂

I've started at this gym as a complete newbie and trained there for a little over a year before having to move. After moving, I went through 9 different gyms in my new area and have seen enough of what's out there, that can review this gym on the fallowing categories Culture: - It's a family like environment. People help each other a lot. Not just the instructors, but also the students. And it all comes from the top. - They spar every Friday, and people don't try to kill each other. It's very controlled and geared towards practicing what you've learned over the week. Instructions: - This is a great gym for both striking(muay thai mostly + mma) and grappling(jiu jitsu mostly + mma) - Uprise has one hour class a week dedicated to clenching. No where else I could find that. - Vast majority of the techniques they teach are super practical. For striking, what we'd been learning throughout the week, we practiced on Fridays. Very good way to put new skills to a test. - Instructions are specific. Even when classes got packed, instructors would make sure to stop by everyone and give a note or two. - They teach good combos. A few per class. Enough to keep it interesting, but not so many as to overwhelm us. - Classes are very well organized and punctual. Each one is an hour long, so it's perfect to train and not get overwhelmed. Lots of people I met had tight schedules due to work or family and they valued reliable schedules. - The classes have a good balance of warmup and technique, about 20/80 ratio. - They treat students as the adults that they are. You can train at your own pace and intensity. Facilities new, clean, and beautiful - just check it out. Staff The owner is the head coach and runs the gym mostly himself. No middle management kind of unnecessary bureaucracy. If you have a suggestion or need something within reason, Pete will give it a sincere consideration. Looking back, it was a privilege for me to have started there. Not sure if I started anywhere else, I'd have fallen in love with the sport the way I had.

It is the burst of scent that greets you when you pull open that glass door that i found most moving about my ecperience visiting this place. Makes you wonder what has kept you from having this... this ripe energy... this awesomeness around you all day long, and 365. This is how i imagine i would think if i ever set foot in here instead of the Yumyum store nearby. Discuss ⏳
