This school is incredible! I was hesitant to take classes again but after it came highly recommended by my manager and a friend, I decided to join. It's really helped me approach my craft in a more specific and nuanced way. I also love that this school is all about personal growth as well. The community is strong and supportive, and I'm so grateful for my teacher JC Brandy who pushes me to be the best actor I can be. Highly recommend!

ZBS is an incredible community of dedicated actors and coaches. I’ve taken acting classes at various schools for past 18 years, and I've never felt more welcomed and comfortable than I do in this studio. Every Coach/ staff member has been a delight to work with. Whether it’s a coach offering valuable insight, or an administrator helping suggest or reschedule, everyone is professional and knowledgeable. As an actor, having a supportive community is everything, and I really feel supported at this studio.

I've been taking the Adult Core class since October and I've had such an amazing time! Acting is something that I have trouble practicing if I am not currently working on a project. But, the class structure of continually jumping through different material from different genres keeps me sharpened and consistent in a way I haven't felt before. The atmosphere is always supportive and it's really inspired me to always go deeper into my characters and my preparation.

Studying at Zak Barnett Studios has been such an amazing experience! The teachers and students offer such a safe and inspiring learning environment. I always leave class having learned something new that I feel confident applying to my craft. I really appreciate the focus on genre in the Immersive classes. It is such a helpful way to guide me through the tone choices I make in a scene. Also, I find doing the mock auditions such a great way to get more comfortable and prepared for the audition process, although I think it would be very helpful to do them in person as well. Overall I notice myself growing so much as an actor and person. I am so beyond grateful to be a part of the ZBS community!
