Where wide-eyed hopeful actors go to be preyed upon my mediocre acting "teachers". Anything you learn here can be taught to you by taking acting classes elsewhere without paying thousands of dollars. Believe me, they don't even teach you what is useful in the entertainment industry until the 2nd year (after you've already payed nearly 35,000) and you can find this info for free online. Every single instructor here is a narcissist that enjoys breaking actors down emotionally. It's like theatre camp, the faculty has their favorite students and then there's everyone else who has been put through numerous humiliation rituals to appease these sick people. I heard Their LA campus is closing, thank the gods! If you value your mental health, want to learn acting and about the industry, and enjoy being in a safe environment for creative growth. Then stay far away from this place and save your money. Actors/performers beware.

I graduated from this school last year, and I am so thankful that I got the opportunity to study here. I think it is one of the best acting schools out there! I have made a new family here. The teachers are so helpful and dedicated, the classes are incredibly useful and the list of notable alumni is never ending. I feel ready and confident as an actor, and I can't wait to start my professional career. The Academy will always hold a special place in my heart!

Love the school.—- well I did. Then I saw how they did not invite any agents or managers to our student’s final performances. This was a promise of admission and every great acting school or college theater program does this for their students in NY, CT and LA. So I wish I’d send her to a place that helps with placement of any kind.

This school has been really helpful and encouraging in helping me identify and develop my strengths as an actor and a performer. I have a deeper understanding of how my mind and my body operates when I'm performing on stage or in front of the camera, which helps me improve my skills on a more practical and technical level, rather than some arbitrary or misguided advice of "be more believable" or "think like the character" and other such umbrella sentences. The teachers here are super helpful and provide very specific feedback. They always make time to have a conversation and to address any issues or blockages you may be facing, artistically or otherwise. I'm very proud to be a part of the more than 100 year legacy of this school.
