Gourmandise School is a wonderful place to learn cooking and baking skills. The teachers are expert and completely approachable, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. The individual classes are terrific and I've now taken 3 series classes, each of which has given me a solid basis and knowledge to cook and bake confidently. GREAT value for the money.

I just completed the 4-Week French Patisserie Series at The Gourmandise School, and it was fantastic! The instructors were knowledgeable and passionate, guiding us through classic pastries with hands-on techniques. The small class size allowed for personalized attention, and taking home our delicious creations was a highlight. I highly recommend this series for anyone eager to enhance their baking skills!

My 7yo and I took the parent and child class and it was such a fun experience! We made pan pizza and the class was engaging from start to finish. The instructor chef was great at keeping things interactive, and my son had a blast. It was the perfect balance of learning and fun, and we both walked away with new skills. My son even said he wants to take another class. The only downside was parking. While there is ample parking in the garage and the first 90 minutes are free there is no validation and we ended up paying over $8. Wish there was something like this closer to our home.

I've taken four different classes at the Gourmandise School and they were all fantastic. Huge thank you to Clemence and her entire team for their hospitality and for helping me to reignite my passion for baking.

The Gourmandise School is hands down the best cooking class I ever attended. My wife and I took the Izakaya class where we learned how to make classic dishes served in Japanese pubs. Our instructor, May, was incredible in sharing the history of the food and how certain dishes have distinct flavors based on the ingredients and the way they are prepared.
We made five dishes at our cooking stations. The sixth was a Matcha Ginger Shortbread which was the dessert. May talked us through the preparation for the cookies in class and had the kitchen staff baked the cookies while we focused on our five dishes. The overall setup of the class and preparation were well thought out and very thorough, making it easy for us to focus on cooking the dishes during the class. The staff and support team were phenomenal in making sure we had everything we needed to make the dishes. They even gave us tofu for our Shrimp and Garlic Chive Gyoza recipe to make them vegetarian friendly.
We ended the class with a feast. All of the dishes were so flavorful and authentic. One thing to note is you can bring your own wine if you wish. The Curious Palate is a restaurant/bar next door that sells bottles of wine for 50% off to students. Kudos to the Gourmandise School for creating such a unique and memorable experience. I'd recommend their classes to anyone interested in learning new recipes, meet interesting people and have fun doing it! I'm looking forward to attending future classes.
